Ladies and gentlemen! We have great news for ya! Saucy is back together and moving and grooving through their home state!
Ladybug crossed into VA last Monday and completed the “Damascus Dash,” her first ever marathon! She was fueled by the fact that Lucy was on her way down to rejoin her on trail.
Since reuniting, Saucy has crushed out 50 miles! Their spirits have been super high, and finally the tent is filled with giggles again 💖 Per doctor’s orders, they’ve been easing back into the mileage and Lucy’s ankle has been so strong!
This section of Virginia is super unique, as they have been walking through Grayson Highlands State Park. This park has WILD PONIES!! And they were everywhere!! Saucy also saw longhorns, and even one wild coyote!
Saucy also hit the highest point in Virginia! It’s all downhill from here right…?
MEAL OF THE WEEK:
Saucy’s new lunch obsession (pictured below) includes a seaweed wrap layered with spicy tuna, hot sauce, dried buffalo edamame, and Takis. Don’t knock it til you try it!
